Hi, My name is Gina, and I’m a proud wife, a busy (and blessed!) mom of five amazing kids, and the creator of AdoreCrochet.com, a space where yarn, love, creativity, and stories all come together.

Whether you’re brand new to crochet or you’ve been looping yarn for years, this is a place for you to feel inspired, encouraged, and completely at home.

Let me tell you a little about how this all started.

My Beautiful Life 💕

I’m married to my best friend, the man who keeps me grounded and makes me laugh when the house is pure chaos. Together, we’re raising five little whirlwinds of joy, energy, and noise.

Yep, five kids!

Each one of them has their own personality, and together they keep our house loud, fun, and always in motion:

• Liam, our oldest, is the curious builder, always asking how things work.
• Nora is our creative spark, she loves painting and trying to “crochet” with finger yarn.
• Elijah is our gentle soul, he’s always snuggling with one of my handmade blankets.
• Mila is our tiny dancer, constantly moving, twirling, and stealing my yarn.
• Zoe, our youngest, is the family boss baby, full of sass and giggles.

Being a mom of five is not always easy, there are spills, tantrums, and laundry mountains, but there’s also so much laughter, love, and good moments. Crochet has become my quiet place. My time. My creative outlet.

How AdoreCrochet.com Was Born

In 2022, after many late nights, yarn tangles, and diaper changes, I finally decided to take the leap and start this blog.

Why?

Because I needed something that was just for me.
Because I wanted to turn my passion into something more.
Because I believe that creativity can be shared, and should be!

I’ve always loved crafting, but crochet had a special way of calming my heart. Every stitch felt like a little escape, a thread of peace in a house full of joyful chaos. Crochet was how I found stillness in a busy world. It became more than a hobby. It became part of my identity.

So one night, sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of lukewarm tea (mom life!), I opened my laptop and started writing. I didn’t know what would come of it, I just knew I wanted to share.

That’s how AdoreCrochet.com was born.

Why Crochet Means So Much to Me?

Crochet is more than just yarn and hooks.

It’s therapy.
It’s connection.
It’s love in a loop.

Every project I make has a story, whether it’s a blanket for my baby’s first nap, a gift for a dear friend, or something I made during a hard week just to feel okay again.

Crochet helped me find peace in the chaos of motherhood. It gave me a sense of purpose when I was feeling lost in the endless cycle of dishes, naps, and tantrums. It reminded me that I’m not just a mom, I’m a maker. A creator. A woman with hands that can build beauty from a ball of yarn.

And now, I want to help you feel that, too.

Why I Love to Share?

When I first started crocheting, I felt overwhelmed. So many patterns looked complicated, and a lot of tutorials assumed I already knew the basics. I made so many mistakes (like frogging the same scarf five times!), but I never gave up.

Now that I’ve learned so much, I want to share it with others. Especially moms like me. Especially beginners. Especially people who feel like they’re not “crafty” enough, because trust me, you are.

I share my work because I know what it feels like to be stuck, tired, or doubting yourself. I want AdoreCrochet.com to be a place that says:

You’ve got this. Let’s crochet something beautiful.
